Government regulations has put NI 43-101 legislation in place in order to both protect and inform the public. Technical reports are written to document the steps taken to collect the data, report results and assure that all reasonable steps have been taken to ensure that the highest standards have been maintained in preparing and documenting the resource estimate.

Reliance is placed upon the QP/CP based upon his/her experience to ensure that all precautions have been taken to ensure that no errors have been made. For this reason all estimates are peer reviewed to ensure a quality product.

Technical reports for companies registered on Canadian Stock Exchanges must be placed on the Sedar  web-site in order to both inform and protect the public.  When writing the report it is of paramount importance that the writer uses plain language so as not to confuse or mislead the reader.
